How we notify you of the transfer value

The transfer value quotation pack will be sent to you by post at the address we currently hold in our records, along with discharge form for you to complete, if you decide to proceed. The pack will also contain additional forms for your new provider to complete. It can take up to ten working days, plus postage time, for us to issue you with a quotation pack.

Transferring your pension - An explanation

Before you transfer your pension, you should consider very carefully whether this is the right choice. The transfer value that we provide will not be guaranteed and it will be recalculated when the transfer takes place, this may be lower or higher than the value previously quoted.

What should I do if my address is now different from the address held in your records?
You can telephone us and we will be happy to update our records. Our telephone number is available in our contact us section.

How can I notify you that I have also changed my name?
Details of how to do this, and our requirements, can be found in our How to - Inform us that you have changed your name section. You can still request the transfer value using the online form, but you need to be aware that any correspondence will be sent to you in your previous name. Your records will not be updated until we have received the required documentation from you.

Do I need to send a separate request for each policy number?
No, you can use the online valuation form for multiple requests. Please note you will receive a separate letter quoting the transfer value and this will include forms that you need to complete for each policy.
